Welcome to Junior 2!

I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year alongside Miss Whittle, our fantastic teaching assistant. I can’t wait to make lots of fun memories together this year!

Our class is a mixed Year 3 and 4 class. Each morning, the children will be taught English and Maths, followed by a range of core and foundation subjects during the afternoon sessions. P.E sessions take place every Friday with Mr Jennings so the children can come into school this day in their P.E kit.

The children have a reading book and a weekly spelling list for home learning. We encourage the children to read each night at home with you and practise their spellings to support their learning in school. On Fridays, children will receive Maths and English home learning to complete and be returned to school.

Please check our Seesaw app regularly to see the learning and activities taking place in class. We like to keep parents up to date with class news and life through this app and on our weekly newsletter, which can be accessed using the links at the bottom of this page.

We are excited for a fantastic year of learning in Junior 2 and can’t wait for you to see your child’s progress. Thanks for all your continued support.
