Infant 4: Mrs Davies

Welcome to Infant 4!

My name is Mrs Davies and I am absolutely delighted to be your child’s class teacher this year! I love teaching at Cobbs Brow and I have a particular passion for music and expressive arts!

In our classroom, we welcome a mix of children from Year 1 and Year 2. Together with our wonderful teaching assistant, Mrs Dumkow, we strive to create an engaging and nurturing environment where every child can thrive both academically and socially.

After we have settled in class, our daily routine begins with a maths lesson, and after that, the children split into their respective year groups for phonics, followed by playtime. Before lunch we have our English lesson. The afternoons are dedicated to exploring various foundation subjects, with PE sessions scheduled every Monday.

 On Wednesday’s we have a further opportunity to develop our PE skills. To enhance every child’s learning journey, all children all have reading books and weekly phonics home learning. We understand that home life can be busy; however, we encourage children to read at home every night and practice their phonics regularly.
