Fundamentals of Maths
At Cobbs Brow, we believe the fundamentals of math are the basic building blocks that help students form a solid mathematical foundation. Math learning entirely relies on the understanding of these fundamental concepts (place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division). When teaching maths, we master these basic skills in order to help children become confident with trickier concepts such as fractions or algebra.
Below is an overview of the fundamentals for each year group. Click on the ‘buttons’ to find out more.
